Look, families fight. Lord knows mine does. However, my family doesn't have the responsibility (nor the privilege) of leading one of the prominent countries in the history of the entire world.
The British Royal Family's turmoil only got worse after Prince Harry placed all his cards on the table during his interview with BBC News. During the interview, he said that he didn't know how much longer his father had left to live; which is a remark that's been panned across the British media for an entire week.
However, King Charles and Company are not blameless in this situation either. Prince Harry lashed out against his father because he felt like the King could have intervened during his court case against RAVEC.
After Prince Harry's loss, Buckingham Palace released a rare statement supporting the meticulous work performed by the courts to gather facts before ruling against the Duke of Sussex's claims.
From the outside looking in, it appears the Royal Family is using the UK Government to go tit for tat with each other instead of sorting things out in private. This is the most unfortunate part of the situation, as its removed any chance of the royals getting the privacy they need to heal from all this drama without being criticized.
And, MAN, is the criticism coming
In their own article, GB News compiled the commentary surrounding one of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's most recent Instagram posts. As seen above, the Duchess posted a black and white photograph of Prince Harry walking with their two children in a lush natural landscape.
According to GB News, one royal insider interpreted Meghan's Instagram post as "a rather giant f*** you."
Another commenter said that Meghan has been "unhelpful" and an "enabler" during the entire ordeal between Prince Harry and his family.
In a different GB News article, some commenters even compared Prince Harry to his father-in-law, Thomas Markle. According to the pundit, Harry's use of controversial interviews to draw attention is the same tactic Thomas used to elicit a reaction from his daughter.
At first, the comparison might seem jarring; but it's actually more accurate than I'd like to admit after thinking about it.
If Prince William and King Charles won't pick up the phone, then what will blasting them in the media accomplish? As much as it sucks to point out, Buckingham Palace's rare statement isn't the first time King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family have left Harry hanging as he deals with the ire of the UK on his own.
Earlier this week, Hello! Magazine reported that King Charles was more focused on hosting a successful VE Day celebration than reflecting on the root causes that resulted in his son's request for reconciliation in the media. While King Charles is certainly able to handle multiple things at once, Hello! Magazine's reporting hints that the King wants to put everything behind him instead of fixing it.
Will Prince Harry ever find peace?

Meghan's Instagram post gave the impression that Prince Harry was ready to enter a new chapter of his life, and his first public appearance since his explosive interview was a positive sign, too.
On May 7, People Magazine reported that Prince Harry showed up in Las Vegas to support The Diana Award, a charity honoring the memory of his late mother, Princess Diana.
The Duke of Sussex was so locked in that he was able to participate in a panel discussion focusing on youth leadership and the ways employers can help their youngest workers excel in the workplace.
Everything seemed to be going well until we found out that Prince Harry is participating in yet another lawsuit suing a UK-based media company. For what it's worth, Elton John is in this lawsuit, too, so Harry isn't the only one trying to hold the publisher in question accountable.
However, the elephant in the room still has to be addressed, and the only question I have left is "When will Harry finally be willing to let it all go?"
I've poked at him a lot in this article, but I think Harry has a fairly solid argument. Until he is emancipated, excommunicated, or whatever else it would take to remove him from the Royal Family for good, he's still one of the most important human assets in the entire world. As such, he should be provided a certain level of protection for his own sake and the United Kingdom's.
Likewise, it's clear his family didn't have his back as the UK press shredded him and his wife for years. As Harry will tell you himself, the UK media pretty much drove him out of his homeland.
That being said, Harry and Meghan are building a great life for themselves. Their kids are happy, their businesses are booming, and their philanthropic endeavors are making a difference in people's lives.
If Harry wished it so, life could be good.
So, what now?
Heck if I know, I'm just an American blogger.
But, man, look at this reel Meghan just posted. Sometimes, flowers and a dog is all you need to recalibrate yourself.
Prince Harry and the rest of the Royal Family have some serious issues to work through, but what if King Charles and Prince William get their wish? What if Harry rides off into the sunset with his wife and kids and never speaks to the senior royals again?
What if, God forbid, Harry gives the finger to the UK press and continues working on he and Meghan's budding media properties?
What if . . .
What if the dude just decides to be happy?
