Zara Tindall is back on the saddle!
Hello! Magazine reports that Tindall recently made her return at the Barbury Castle Horse Trials in Wiltshire. The Olympian rode her own horses, Showtime and Class Affair, during the event and mae a solid start to her 2025 season.
Britisheventing.com's coverage of the event shows that Zara competed exclusively in dressage and placed within the Top 10 with both of her horses.
British Eventing's website also shows that Zara is scheduled to compete in the Thoresby Park International Eventing Spring Carnival on the 27th of March.
The continuation of a storied equestrian career

Zara Tindall is one of the Royal Family's most accomplished athletes. While the House of Windsor's love for polo is well documented, the majority of men in the Royal Family prefer to compete at the amateur level and for charity.
This makes Tindall's status as an Olympic silver medalist quite notable. While her mother, Princess Anne, is also an Olympic equestrian, Zara has bragging rights since Anne never medaled at the Games. However, Zara's father, Captain Mark Phillips, is the most accomplished of the trio.
Phillips won a gold medal in team eventing for the British at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and a silver team medal in 1988 while competing in Seoul.
Zara's pedigree shows that she was born to compete in equestrian and was destined to have some level of success as long as she stuck with the sport.
Back in January, Zara shared that she's interested in competing for Great Britain again at the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane. However, the accomplished athlete acknowledged that making it to Brisbane would not be an easy task.
For one, Zara would need a healthy horse that could stay injury free throughout training and her intense run of qualifying events. Even if that were settled, Zara would need to consider the state of her own health before pushing her body to those levels.
If all goes well, Zara Tindall would be 51 years old once the Summer Games kick off in 2032.
Zara's husband, Mike Tindall knows a thing or two about keeping his body in prime physical condition. The former rugby pro played one of the most physical sports in the land, and I'm sure he'd be a great source of support for Zara during her long journey back to the podium.
Zara hasn't shared much about her entire schedule for the 2025 season. We'll be sure to update you as soon as her next round of competitions is announced!
