It appears a cryptic collage posted on Instagram is Meghan Markle's response to the criticism she received after her announcement of American Riviera Orchard's rebrand into As Ever.
Hello! Magazine's breakdown of the collage shows multiple hints that Meghan's taking the high road instead of giving a direct response to the negativity hurled her way on social media and through the press.
Most of the criticism was rooted in As Ever's new name and logo. A small retail business in New York City shares the same name with Meghan's new lifestyle project.
When speaking with The US Sun, the owner of As Ever NYC, Mark Kolski, said, "This new venture has the power and money of Netflix behind it. Even if I wanted to do something I don't think I have the behemoth of lawyers and money that are behind this."
Overseas in Spain, Xisca Mora, a Spanish politician, said that As Ever's logo is similar to Mallorca's coat of arms.
Once these issues were pointed out, a storm of questions followed. The collage posted by Meghan on Instagram does not provide a clear answer to these questions, but it does give us something to analyze further.
The Duchess' focus on moving forward and embracing the love around her
Hello! Magazine points out that many of the Easter eggs seen in the collage come from Meghan's defunct blog, The TIG.
The inspirational quotes posted across the piece come from her old blog and communicate positive messages like having faith that everything will be okay on the other side. Other notes correctly point out that you can't please everyone even if you tried.
There are also a lot of callbacks to Meghan's marriage and family, as the green star included at the bottom of the collage was made by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. To the right of the star is an illustration of Meghan and Prince Harry kissing each other while walking their dog.
The separate pieces that make up the collage symbolize Meghan's focus on her marriage, family, and dreams as she moves forward through the negativity she's experienced. Unfortunately, the Duchess has experience with this exercise, as the UK media is a major reason why her and Harry are based in California now.
As Meghan continues to focus on what she can control, she will have the chance to redirect her fans' attention to something else. With Love, Meghan, her new lifestyle show on Netflix, will begin streaming on March 4.
