If you ever have dinner at David and Victoria Beckham's house, you might want to let everyone know you'll be unavailable for a few hours.

Hello! Magazine's recent article on the celebrity couple's house rules shows that they value having dinner with their children Brooklyn (25), Romeo (22), Cruz (20), and Harper (13) as much as they can. According to David, the family sits down "every evening at 6pm" and eats together as a family.

The footballing legend also said that he and his wife, Victoria, have a hard rule about the use of phones (or lack thereof) at the dinner table.

Hello! Magazine reports that the Beckhams don't allow any screen time during their flagship family meals. However, the Inter Miami CF owner and former Spice Girl aren't that strict, as they love to play background music while chatting about their days.

Of course the family man loves his family time

David Beckham remains attached to the world of football via his ownership stake in Inter Miami CF. However, the businessman's zeal for being a homebody has grown in recent years.

Hello! Magazine's article on the Beckhams' house rules also shares that the family grills from sun up to sun down on certain weekends.

"In the countryside in the UK, my kids are there every weekend, and we all grill every Saturday from 11 in the morning until 12 at night," David explained in a People Magazine interview.

Sometimes, the family grills at David's £12 million farmhouse in the Cotswolds. When the family is in the United States, they light it up at their £54 million mansion in Miami.

In either case, David likes to spend as much time as possible bonding with his wife and children as he enjoys the fruits of his very famous labor.

When he's not working or feasting with his family, David loves to live the country lifestyle.

Apparently, his love for gardening and husbandry grew after he purchased his countryside home in the Cotswolds.

"As soon as I get up into the countryside, I normally get into my whole country get-up," David said during a Netflix interview cited by Hello! Magazine.

This get-up includes a flat cap and pair of Wellington boots that can stand the tests Beckham puts them through during his workdays.

Last autumn, David went a bit too hard in the garden, as he tweaked his back while renovating his growing field of veggies.

The Premier League Hall of Famer's back was left in "bits," but at least his leek, red onion, and garlic plots were alright!
