David Beckham tweaks back while renovating budding garden
By Dallas Glenn
David Beckham was always a warrior on the pitch, so fans of the former international footballer may be surprised to know it was his garden that finally put a dent in the armor.
According to Hello! Magazine, David Beckham recently shared on his Instagram page that he tweaked his back while gardening. Apparently, the legend's back was left "in bits" while mulching his vegetable beds and doing the dirty work needed to make sure his leeks, red onions, and garlic continue to grow healthily.
Luckily, his £12 million estate in the Cotswolds is equipped with all the featured he'd need to get right and enjoy all of his hard work.
A man with a heart for gardening and beautification
David Beckham has done quite well for himself. Along with his Cotswolds property, David and his wife, Victoria, own a $24 million apartment in the United States and a snazzy townhouse in London.
Hello! Magazine estimates that David and Victoria Beckham's farmhouse has doubled in value since they purchased it and made some key renovations. They might need some of that cash, too, as there are also reports that the Beckhams are eyeing a $60 million, nine bedroom mansion in Miami, Florida.
No matter what happens, it appears David will need a chance to work the fields and revisit his green oasis as much as possible. At his Cotswolds home, the legend has fruit orchards, a full-sized football pitch, a £100k treehouse, and a £50,000 safari tent among other amenities.
The prospective Miami mansion is reported to have an outdoor kitchen and lounging area for the family to enjoy a well-cooked meal outside. However, we'll have to wait for Beckham's final decision to see what he does with the backyard!
