Ever since the first official trailer for With Love, Meghan dropped, there have been plenty of discussions around this new Netflix series from the Duchess of Sussex. Unsurprisingly, there have also been plenty of questions as well. One of those questions has to do with where the series was actually filmed.

Back in April when news broke about an upcoming reality lifestyle series from Duchess Meghan, a report came out that revealed that the filming for the show would not take place in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Montecito home. When we initially covered this news, we shared that when filming began on April 16, it would take place in a different home in Montecito.

Now, according to US Weekly, it seems that the question about where the project was filmed has once again been raised. And while we don't know the exact house in Montecito where With Love, Meghan was filmed, we do know that it was within the same neighborhood as the Sussex home.

As we have said before, it is not at all surprising that the series was not filmed in their actual home. The last thing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want is people to get an inside look at their sanctuary. However, that doesn't mean that there weren't aspects of their home that made it into the temporary house. In fact, there are still those little glimpses of what makes a home special for the Sussexes, in particular there was the addition of their pup to the filming.

Plus, we don't know how much or how little of the show was filmed in this temporary abode. After all, there are mentions of Duchess Meghan's garden and chickens, so it is entirely possible that some of the exterior footage and content is in fact filmed at their home. So if the couple didn't want the cameras inside their actual home, who can really blame them? I know I don't.

While there are plenty of people who may have wanted that look at the interior of the Duchess of Sussex's home, they don't actually need it. And filming the series outside of her home does not in any way take away from the project and what she is sharing with her viewers and fans.

Although we expect to see complaints about things being inauthentic since it wasn't filmed in her actual home, we plan to ignore the hate. After all, it's not like we haven't seen plenty of sets built for other food and lifestyle programs. So why is this any different?
