When we think of the royal family we don’t necessarily think of things like fast food or even food delivery. I mean, who really thinks that Prince William has DoorDash or Uber Eats on his phone and is placing an order for a takeaway meal?
But whether or not he has a food delivery app on his phone, we do know that he enjoys a good takeaway meal every now and again. In fact, during a podcast appearance in 2020, Prince William received a takeaway delivery during that podcast filming/recording.
While the delivery itself was a plate of different curries from a place called Samrat, it turns out that that food was a favorite of one of the podcast hosts. However, the prince also likes curry, although it might be more of a second favorite takeaway meal.
Prince William has confirmed that one of his favorite takeaway dishes is actually chicken masala. But he also loves curry. His only requirement is that the curry is “not too hot.” So it seems like the prince is a fan of both chicken masala and curry as takeaway dishes.
Prince William is a fan of chicken masala as a takeaway meal
Over the years, Prince William has talked about food and his favorites, although we all know this is not a major topic of conversation. However, sometimes people want to know these little details and it seems like he has no problem answering those questions. Plus when he gets a chance to talk to chefs, he’s willing to open up about his preferences. And according to Showbiz Cheatsheet at one point, he even spoke to a winner from MasterChef and revealed, “me and heat not so good. I love spice but not heat.”
It’s definitely interesting to learn that even Prince William is down for a good takeaway meal. And he’s not the only member of the royal family who might enjoy a good takeaway. In fact, we’ve previously written about the fact that King Charles is a fan of a rather popular dish in the UK for his takeaway meal of choice. And if you were curious, it’s fish and chips.
We were actually a little bit surprised to learn what Prince William‘s favorite takeaway dish is. And yet we do love to see it. We love learning what people enjoy as maybe a cheat meal or a meal that’s delivered because it’s been a long day and they have no desire to cook or go into the kitchen.
