If there is one reality program that is truly relaxing, and inviting, it would have to be the Great British Baking Show (also known as the Great British Bake Off). So it likely comes as no surprise that not only did this show get spinoffs, but we here in America wanted a slice of that pie. And while the Great American Baking Show has had some struggles in the past, once it hit the Roku channel, everything changed.

The Great American Baking Show has truly become just as beloved as the original. Not only do we still have Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood as judges in the tent, but we have the tent as well. It’s so much like the original, that it still gives us that feeling of warmth and comfort.

Knowing how well received the series has been, it might come as no surprise that the Roku Channel has not only announced that we will be getting another season of the main series, bringing us to four seasons, but we will also be getting another season of the Celebrity Holiday Special, as well as the Big Game and Celebrity Summer editions.

Roku announced that they were renewing The Great American Baking Show, as well as other editions of the show

According to the head of originals for Roku media, Brian Tanenbaum, “the success of the Great American Baking Show has enabled us to build upon this beloved franchise, creating a multi-pronged viewing experience, of both original and library content, in an on-demand and fast environment. We can’t wait to head back into the iconic tent and give audiences even more of the endearing and feel good moments with this incredible series, as well as premiere the latest seasons of the Great British Baking Show: Juniors.”

After watching the third season, I could not imagine them not renewing the series. In fact, this year was the first time we saw Paul Hollywood give his iconic Hollywood handshake to a baker in the finale. That alone deserved a renewal for the series from Roku.

We can’t wait to see who all enters the tent for season four, and what the judges will have these new bakers whipping up when it comes to breads, cakes and biscuits.
