After some chatter about Princess Beatrice's recent absence from a royal engagement, Princess Eugenie has set the record straight with an Instagram post.
According to a report from GB News, Princess Beatrice missed a garden party hosted by Prince William and Princess Catherine at Buckingham Palace. The party was a big deal, too, as Prince Edward, his wife Sophie, and Zara Tindall were some of the more prominent names in attendance.
GB News states that William and Catherine hosted the event while King Charles and Queen Camilla were away handling business elsewhere.
Reports show that the King and Queen were at the Canada House celebrating its 100th year in existence. They visited the location before their upcoming appearance in Ottawa on the 26th of May,
So, what's up with Princess Beatrice?
In an Instagram post on her personal page, Princess Eugenie gushed about the time she recently spent with her sister at Horatio's Garden.
In the photo collage included above, Princess Eugenie can be seen walking with Princess Beatrice while they both take in the nature around them.
Eugenie's compilation also shows her and Beatrice socializing with the venue's other visitors as well.
"It was fantastic to catch up with @horatiosgarden again and to see their beautiful display as well as visit some of the gardens on show," Eugenie wrote. In the same caption, Eugenie explained that she and Beatrice actually swung by Horatio's Garden to attend the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
According to GB News, Horatio's Garden is a charity that was founded by Dr. Olivia Chappel to honor her late son.
The venue touts an outdoor space tailored for visitors with spinal injuries and has been supposed by Princess Eugenie for quite a long time. This connection makes sense, as Princess Eugenie was once treated for scoliosis during her early adolescence.
In an interview with The Telegram, Eugenie said, "I’ve seen how [Horatio's] garden is so transformative for patients. Nature is so healing; hearing the sound of the birds and running water.”
In addition to the Chelsea Flower Show, Eugenie and Beatrice also visited the Downs Syndrome Scotland Garden, Hospice UK’s Garden for Compassion, the Avanade Intelligent Garden, and the Cha No Niwa Japanese Tea Garden.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's outing between sisters shows that the former doesn't have any issue with the latter. While there's a ton of drama in the Royal Family to go around, it appears the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are determined to stick together.
