Princess Catherine writes about the greatest gift of all in new heartfelt letter
By Dallas Glenn
In a new letter obtained by Hello! Magazine, Princess Catherine shared that love is the greatest gift we can receive this holiday season.
Earlier this year, the Princess of Wales completed a preventative round of chemotherapy that put things into perspective for her. Of course, we shouldn't be surprised that receiving a cancer diagnosis and tackling it as soon as possible would make a person reconsider their priorities.
In light of her new experience, Princess Catherine decided to spread love this holiday season and help the public understand the importance of family, gratitude, and joy.
A beautiful letter to mark the most precious time of year
Princes Catherine's letter is a beautifully written message that both promotes the upcoming carol service she's hosting and encourages readers to "slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all."
According to Catherine, slowing down gives us a chance to step back from the pressures of life and remember what we're all here for. The holiday season gives us the chance to receive empathy and be empathetic towards others as they try to recover from a tough year themselves.
As the Princess writes "[gentle] words or a receptive ear, an arm around an exhausted shoulder, or silently being by someone’s side" are the things anyone can do to make themselves and the loved ones around them happy. Hopefully, the people attending Catherine's carol service will have a chance to put these words into action and enjoy themselves in a festive and loving environment!
According to our reporting, Princess Catherine's carol service will be hosted at Westminster Abbey on December 6th. Catherine and her husband, Prince William, usually schedule multiple holiday events for themselves and their family members. The carol service's scheduled date hints that there could be another event or two hosted by the Royals later this month.
In the past, Princess Catherine took her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, to donate time at a baby bank in Windsor. Other times saw the Princess of Wales take her family Christmas tree hunting in Great Windsor Park.
Thankfully, the Princess seems healthy enough to resume her public life and handle the tedious collaboration associated with hosting events during the holiday season. As the month progresses, we will keep up the Royal Family's actions and update you whenever a new development arises! If history is correct, the Royals should be giving us all some new tea to banter over soon!
