Princess Beatrice calls for more inclusiveness in AI
By Dallas Glenn
It seems the best way to make sure artificial intelligence works for everyone is to make sure everyone gets involved in their own way.
Recently, Princess Beatrice spoke at the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi and focused on the future of AI around the world. The Royal stated that the world needs technology companies, energy providers, and diverse individuals to provide their knowledge so AI is properly developed over time. This isn't the first time Beatrice has used her knowledge to move technology forward, however, as she currently works for Afiniti as their Vice President.
A rising ambassador uses her influence for the greater good
According to a GB News' article covering Princess Beatrice's remarks, this isn't the first time the tech executive has visited the Middle East to promote positive change. Just last week, Beatrice visited Saudi Arabia to attend the Future Investment Initiative.
Unlike other members of the Royal Family, Beatrice isn't a working Royal. This means she carries a regular day job and earns her living the same way we do. Despite this arrangement, King Charles' niece has become one of the United Kingdom's more influential cultural ambassadors to the region.
Sarah, Duchess of York has expressed how proud she is of her daughter in the past, as Beatrice has never complained about doing the leg work needed to help make the world a better place in her own way. In addition to her visits to the Middle East, Beatrice uses her knowledge to help people with dyslexia and make workplaces a more compassionate place for employees at all levels.
It's always interesting to find out that members of the Royal Family are regular people, too, at the end of the day. The Duchess of York says that Beatrice's work in the technology industry is inspiring, and we hope that her remarks at the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference motivated the right power players in AI as well.
