Princess Anne has received a wave of public support as she continues to recover from the concussion she suffered in an accident last year.

Hello! Magazine reports that Princess Anne recently visited Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), a charity she has been the President of for 40 years. To commemorate the visit, the RDA and Royal Family's Instagram accounts made a joint post celebrating the Princess Royal for her decades of service.

"This year marks 40 years of The Princess Royal serving as President of the national RDA," the post reads. "As part of her ongoing support, Her Royal Highness visited the Helen Atkin Group in Buxton, where she met volunteers and riders."

While visiting the Helen Atkin Group, Princess Anne watched a riding performance that was accompanied by music from the popular film The Greatest Showman.

After the show, Princess Anne gifted rosettes to the riders and horses who performed and presented certificates to volunteers who were recognized for their years of service to the community.

Princess Anne has been a well known member of the equestrian community for quite some time. The Princess Royal loves horses and frequently spends time caring for them and attending horse-related events and shows.

Unfortunately, her love for horses indirectly led to her suffering an accident that caused her to lose a portion of her memory.

Last month, Princess Anne shared that she only remembers walking up to one of her fields to check on her chickens before suffering her accident.

Hello! Magazine adds that Princess Anne doesn't remember much about the medical care she received after the accident either.

On the 6th of February, the Princess Royal visited Southland Hospital in Bristol to thank the healthcare providers who cared for her while she was out of commission.

"You've been filling in the blanks, which partly, from my perspective, is really useful to know what happened because I seriously don't have any idea," Princess Anne explained to the staff members she visited. "Sadly, I don't have huge memories of being in here either. I just know I was really well looked after so thank you."

Supporters of the Princess Royal noted that she seemed at home while visiting the Helen Atkin Group and RDA earlier this week. In a comment under the RDA and Royal Family's joint Instagram post, one fan wrote that Anne was "in her element."

From the outside looking in, it appears that Princess Anne won't let her accident stop her from participating in equestrian events and engaging with her passions. This is a great development we will keep track of as the weeks go by.
