We all need a refresher on the House of Windsor's current line of succession from time to time!

A recent report from People Magazine highlights an endearing interaction between Prince William and a young Year 5 student named Mohammed.

The brief conversation saw Mohammed ask Prince William if he was the current King.

William, who has years of experience conversing with children, simply replied "No, I'm not, no. I'm his son," before pivoting to Mohammed's day at school.

Someone took Mohammed's hat off while he was speaking to the Prince of Wales, but William quickly said that his hat wasn't a problem because "He needs it on to keep his ears warm. It's cold out here, it's very cold today."

St. Nicholas Catholic Academy's tweet (seen above) includes two short videos showing Prince William and Mohammed's interaction with one another.

The first video, on the left, shows Prince William and Mohammed taking a selfie with one another. The video on the right shows the aforementioned conversation between the two playing out in real time.

People Magazine points out that Prince William has embraced taking selfies more often in recent years. He and Princess Catherine have begun posing for pictures with people who (politely) ask them to do so whenever they are out in public.

People also highlights how kind and warm Catherine and William are while they're speaking with children and their youngest fans.

In her professional life, Princess Catherine dedicates a significant portion of time and energy towards the proper education of the UK's youngest citizens. Earlier this month, Princess Catherine provided a foreword in a new study published by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood.

The foreword called for people to be more aware about the negative impact technoference has on children's social development and how authentic social interactions should be promoted within students' early childhood education as much as possible.

Princess Catherine established the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood in 2021 "to raise awareness of why the first five years of life are just so important for our future life outcomes.”

The Princess of Wales is also a patron of Ty Hafan, the first children's hospice in Wales.

Prince William frequently invests time and energy into the future of the United Kingdom as well. Late last month, the Prince of Wales collected water samples with students who were learning how to conduct experiments at NatureMetrics.

NatureMetrics, an organization focused on generating data that explains the current health of the environment, was a finalist for the Earthshot Prize, another cause close to Prince William's heart.
