Princess Catherine recently shared her thoughts on early childhood development in a new study released by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood.
According to Us Weekly, Catherine's foreword in the Royal Foundation's publication focuses on human beings' need to be "surrounded by love, safety, and security" and how we "thrive when we are connected to one another, when we feel like we belong, feel seen, heard, and accepted for who we are."
Catherine adds that these realities require us to take a "look at ourselves and our own behaviors, emotions and feelings." Luckily, the Royal Foundation's report provides a wealth of knowledge about the impact of technology on young children's social development and how technoference impedes all age groups' ability to have substantial conversations with each other.
Another example of Princess Catherine's dedication to early childhood education

Princess Catherine has supported early childhood education programs and research for quite some time. According to Us Weekly, the Princess of Wales established the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood in 2021 βto raise awareness of why the first five years of life are just so important for our future life outcomes.β Catherine also became a patron of Ty Hafan, the first children's hospice in Wales and an organization Princess Diana cherished deeply during her lifetime.
The Foundation's study, entitled "The Shaping Us Framework," found that babies and children learn how to communicate through social interactions and listening to others. This adds to previous knowledge that believed young learners absorbed language best through listening.
Princess Catherine's contributions to the new report are her most recent steps towards fully re-entering public life after announcing her remission from cancer earlier this year. Last month, the Princess of Wales delivered a personal statement to the staff members of The Royal Marsden.
The Princess of Wales showed immense gratitude to The Royal Marsden's staff members after reflecting on the care she received from them while battling cancer in private. Her visit to the hospital was actually another step towards her resuming the full-time schedule most working royals are known for.
A conversation between Us Weekly and author Robert Hardman revealed that Princess Catherine tried to keep her cancer diagnosis private for the sake of her children. Hardman claimed that Catherine wanted to keep things as normal as possible for her and William's children and avoid the media storm that would come with her medical condition becoming public.
Catherine's healthier condition these days should allow her to resume the work she's most passionate about and continue advocating for the next generation of leaders, artists, and innovators.
