If you were busy getting your sports fix in all weekend, you'll be happy to know that you weren't alone!

While some people were preparing for the Super Bowl, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to watch an NHL game after commemorating a major sporting event of their own.

Hello! Magazine reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle swung by a game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks after attending the 2025 Invictus Games' opening ceremony.

The Games were well represented at the NHL affair as well, as Harry got a chance to drop the puck with two warrior athletes by his side!

According to Hello! Magazine, the athletes who dropped the puck with Prince Harry were Lee Jarratt and Andre Crocker. Jarratt and Crocker are representatives of the Canadian Invictus team, so there's a chance they were the ones who gave the Duke of Sussex some tips before hitting the ice!

On Meghan's end, the Duchess of Sussex gave us an unexpected sense of nostalgia. Whether she realizes it or not, the Givenchy coat Markle wore to the game was the same piece she sported while telling the world she was pregnant with Prince Archie.

Pictures posted by Hello! Magazine show that the couple was given a grand tour of the Canucks' facilities during their visit. This must have been a cathartic end to a hectic opening day, as Prince Harry had been preparing for the launch of the 2025 Invictus Games for months.

Last November, Tea and Banter posted Prince Harry and Jelly Roll's hilarious teaser promoting the 2025 edition of the Games. Jelly Roll, a country music sensation, said that he would perform at the event if Prince Harry let him draw a tattoo. Prince Harry didn't think anything of it until Jelly Roll began drawing the "I AM" logo right on the Duke's neck!

Prince Harry's sense of humor provides levity to the heavy sense of responsibility he felt while creating the Invictus Games. Prince Harry, a former service member himself, designed the event "to do whatever [he] could to help [his] fellow brothers and sisters heal, and to champion everything [they] stand for."

Naturally, celebrities from across the world are interested in celebrating the courage, loyalty, and honor each athlete has shown their countries in the past. Hello! Magazine reports that Denmark's Prince Joachim and Princess Marie are scheduled to pass through the Games at some point. Current estimates have them arriving on February 15th, a day before the event ends.

Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Chris Martin, and Nelly Furtado attended the Games' opening ceremony as performers.

Prince Harry usually goes all out to make sure the warrior athletes he invites are sufficiently recognized for their accomplishments and perseverance. As such, we expect to see even more surprises as the week progresses!
