It seems even King Charles can be just as superstitious as the rest of us.

Hello Magazine reported that the King of the United Kingdom frequently visits the Tower of London so he can check on its world famous ravens. For those who don't know, the Tower of London's ravens have served the UK officially since the reign of Charles II. According to legend, the Tower's ravens signify the stability of the entire kingdom. If the ravens ever flee the Tower, The Crown is supposed to perceive their evacuation as a sign of impending doom. Naturally, someone might want to keep tabs on that!

King Charles' apprehensions are justified

As the saying goes "heavy is the head that wears the crown." Earlier this year, King Charles elaborated on how he felt when he was initially diagnosed with cancer. The monarch revealed that it was a "bit of a shock" when reflecting on the initial news and discussing what his future plans for treatment would entail. Anyone would be rattled after receiving such a life changing diagnosis. As such, the personal development could explain why the King is invested in checking on the ravens whenever he can.

Unfortunately, recent events outside the royal family have heightened the King's concern about the safety of his kingdom as well. Hello Magazine's report on King Charles claims that he'll be visiting the families who were affected by recent crimes in the UK. These visits are sure to provide some level of comfort to the victims involved, but His Majesty will still have a long list of problems to address once he's completed his current obligations.
