With the highly-anticipated big-screen adaptation of Stephen Schwarz' 2003 musical Wicked, it's natural to see brands joining in the excitement. Monopoly has a Wicked edition that will whisk you away to Wiz-o-mania. According to Forbes, Zac Posen, Aldo and Swarovski are releasing Oz-themed fashions. And now, Starbucks promises to give customers a Wicked buzz.

"And goodness knows, we know what goodness is"

Some people feel witchy all year long, but Starbucks' Halloween releases are sure to get the rest of us on the bandwagon. Coming on October 22, exactly one month before the movie's release, they are dropping Elphaba's Green Elixir and Glinda's Pink Potion.

As Glinda and this almost fluorescent drink say, "It is good to see me, isn't it?" The frothy concoction brews up a "Mango Dragonfruit refresher hand-shaken with creamy coconutmilk, ice and a scoop of real dragonfruit. Topped with silky-smooth nondairy Strawberry Cream Cold Foam and colorful candy sprinkles." Not only is this drink a perfect match for anything Ariana Grande's Glinda the Good Witch wears, but it is a perfect way to pep up with its combination of fresh fruity elements and a bit of a sugar rush.

Meanwhile, Elphaba's Green Elixir practically oozes power. In the show, the Green Elixir is a favorite of both the wonderful wizard and a mysterious figure from the Wicked Witch's past. Elphaba turns it down when it's offered, but it's awfully tempting in the version invented by Starbucks. It "features Starbucks Cold Brew sweetened with Peppermint Syrup, topped with silky-smooth Nondairy Matcha cream Cold Foam and colorful candy sprinkles." Elphaba boasts, "Let all Oz agree, I'm wicked through and through," but this has a mixture that promises to be an adventure in tastes.

Not to worry. No matter which witch you're rooting for, you can find something to enjoy. Siding with Elphaba doesn't mean you can't be "Galinda-fied" and it's hard to imagine that reaching for the cold brew will make you less "pop-u-lar." Both drinks are a great way to commemorate and prepare for the movie, which comes to theaters in November.
