Netflix reveals the top 10 movies streamed in the U.K. for June 5 to June 11
Are you wondering what are the most watched movies on Netflix in the U.K.? Are you looking for a bit of movie inspiration this week? Well, if you saw last week's top 10, you may not be surprised in the least by what is currently making up the list of the top 10 movies on the platform.
Honestly, when it comes to streaming movies, you might expect the newest movies to be the most watched in any given month or week. However, that's not always the case. And thanks to the Netflix top 10 list, we know that nostalgia and comfort movies are definitely leading the way when it comes to what people are streaming.
So if you are wondering exactly what people have been watching in the U.K. as of June 5 to June 11, and even how long they have been watching it, check out our breakdown of the top 10 below.
What are the top 10 most watched movies on Netflix in the U.K. as of June 5 to June 11?
According to the Netflix Blog the top 10 most watched movies in the U.K. are:
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (This has been in the top 10 for four weeks, although this one bounced up from the sixth spot!)
- The Family (One week in the top 10.)
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (This has also been in the top 10 for four weeks, and it moved up a spot from number four.)
- F9: The Fast Saga (Three weeks in the top 10.)
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Four weeks in the top 10.)
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Also four weeks in the top 10.)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (This is sitting at three weeks in the top 10.)
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (This has been in the top 10 for four weeks.)
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (This is another one that has been in the top 10 for four weeks.)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (Again, this movie has only been in the top 10 for three weeks.)
Considering all eight of the Harry Potter movies were in the top 10 for the week of May 29 through June 4, the fact that they are still in the top 10 is actually not that surprising. While we would love to see a bit more variety in the top 10 movies list streaming on Netflix in the U.K., we are also curious to see how long all eight movies last at the top of the charts.
How long do you think the Harry Potter movies will last in the top 10? Do you think there are any movies on Netflix that could break into the top 10 in June?
