When it comes to streaming services, Netflix is definitely the leader of the pack. And even with their new password sharing rules in place, they continue to be the go-to source for many of us looking to watch both movies and TV shows.

Twelve days into June, we know exactly what people in the U.K. are watching on Netflix. And perhaps the top movies in the U.K. will come as no surprise to many. In fact, eight of the 10 movies are all from the same franchise.

So what is the number one streamed movie in the U.K. on Netflix for the week of May 29 to June 4? And which movies make up the full top 10?

What are the top 10 movies being streamed in the U.K. on Netflix for the first week of June?

According to Netflix, the top 10 movies streaming in the U.K. are:

  1. F9: The Fast Saga (Two weeks in the top 10)
  2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Currently at three weeks in the top 10)
  3. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Also three weeks in the top 10)
  4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Three weeks in the top 10)
  5. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Three weeks in the top 10)
  6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Three weeks in the top 10)

  9. Old (Two weeks in the top 10)
  10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (Two weeks in the top 10)

While it is not surprising to see F9 in the top spot for streaming movies on Netflix in the U.K. since the latest movie in the franchise is currently in theaters, we were surprised to see all eight of the Harry Potter movies in the top spots. Maybe it is the fact that there are so many other movies that could be in the top 10, but the fact that the list is dominated by the boy wizard was a bit unexpected.

And when you think about the fact that most of the Harry Potter movies have been in the top 10 for three weeks, while others have been in the top spots for two weeks, it looks like people are opting for a touch of nostalgia with their movie watching in June.
