Millie Bobby Brown offers up her own book recommendations
On September 12, Millie Bobby Brown went from being an actress and producer, to adding published author to her resume. The book, which is called Nineteen Steps, is in many ways a love letter to her grandmother.
However, while we can't wait to get our hands on the book and read it for ourselves, we also love finding out what our favorite celebrities are reading as well. And thanks to Elle Magazine, we not only know what Brown has been reading, we also know more about her thoughts on those books.
Obviously, we have Nineteen Steps on our "To Be Read (TBR)" list, but what about some of the other books that she recommends? Here is what the Stranger Things actress has read recently and is recommending to others.
Here is what Millie Bobby Brown has been reading and recommends to others
Perhaps the least surprising book on her recommendation list is the Rebecca Yarros novel Fourth Wing. If you have ever even dipped a toe into the world of BookTok, then you have heard of this novel. It is everywhere on TikTok and according to Millie Bobby Brown, "I couldn’t put it down!"
Want to get emotional? Then Brown recommends A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole. She described this one as "one of the saddest books I have ever read." And while that may not sound like a book you will want to rush out and snag, we can't help but love a good book that can make us cry.
While we aren't sure if this is a recommendation or not, Elle Magazine also asked the actress for one of the first books she bought. And her answer was Twilight! She even talked about being obsessed with Robert Pattinson after she watched the movies based on the book series. (Something that many fans of the series can relate to.)
We love getting an idea about what other people are reading and we can't help but appreciate these recommendations. There is something to be said about learning about other people's favorite books and reading them for ourselves. And now that we are planning to read Millie Bobby Brown's book, we may have to add her recommendations to our list as well.
