The conversation surrounding Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's new Netflix series With Love, Meghan has been hot and heavy since the show premiered earlier this month.

Positive reviews tend to focus on the show's down-to-earth feel and low barrier of entry. However, there are some viewers who were shocked that Meghan didn't film the project inside her actual home in Montecito.

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Meghan explained that she didn't want to have an army of people in the same kitchen she uses to feed her beloved family.

"I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments," Meghan revealed to People. "Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!"

A simple explanation from one of the most accessible royals in the family

With Love, Meghan confirms something a lot of the Duchess' fans already knew. Despite being criticized by the UK media and others, Meghan is actually one of the most accessible members of the Royal Family.

People Magazine reports that the home Meghan rented for her show is fairly close to her actual address. This allowed her to share the charms of California while still maintaining her privacy.

Also, the mother of two gushed about how Archie helped out with the production of her lifestyle and cooking series by working the clapboard whenever he visited her on set.

In another part of her interview, Meghan spoke more about the events that led to her and Prince Harry buying their family residence in Montecito. The Duchess highlighted the presence of two palm trees that were linked together at the roots. When she and Harry saw them, her husband immediately turned to her and said, "‘My love, it’s us.’"

Meghan said that the natural work of art swept her off her feet and made the house a must buy asset before she even saw the inside of the property.

Unsurprisingly, the two palm trees helped inspire the visual aesthetic of Meghan's new logo for As Ever.

Meghan's recent media run has done a great job of promoting her new Netflix series to the public. The series is Meghan's love letter to gardening, cooking, and homemaking, and the authenticity of her passions come across as the Duchess interacts with her recipes and guests.

A recent report confirmed that Netflix already announced a second season of With Love, Meghan. This means fans of the Duchess will get to learn more about her philosophies in the kitchen and how she uses food as a symbol of love.
