Vanderpump Villa returned for a second season on Hulu. And instead of a summer in France, this time it was all about Italy.

Not only did we have some returning staff members, but we also had new staff joining the villa. On top of that, Lisa Vanderpump brought in someone who used to work for her in the past, in the form of Stassi Schroeder. Stassi was actually a guest for the entire season, along with her husband and children. She was there as a bit of a spy for Lisa. And she would report back things that she noticed as a guest.

But even without Stassi, it was very clear that Lisa was not playing around in season two. In fact, in the very first episode, she fired one of the new members of staff. She felt that they did not have what it took to handle the season at the villa, so she let them go. What makes this season so interesting, is that this was only the first firing. It was clear that Lisa Vanderpump was not playing around.

Vanderpump Villa Season 2 saw multiple people fired by Lisa Vanderpump

As we watch the season progress, multiple people found themselves getting the ax. And this includes two returning staff members, Hannah and Marciano. While we could understand a bit about what happened with Hannah and Marciano, their actions simply could not be allowed. The way they interacted with their fellow staff members, made it very clear that Lisa had no other choice, but to let them go. although we were sad to see them get fired, it didn’t come as much of a shock.

By episode five of Vanderpump Villa, Lisa Vanderpump had fired four people from the villa. Not only did she fire someone in the first episode, but she also fired someone in the third episode and then at the start of the fifth episode that’s when we lost Hannah and Marciano. And the thing is that it did not stop there.

And I have to say that I am so glad that Lisa is not playing around this season. It was so important for her to do this because it made it clear that she is running a business. And some of these people don’t act like it. Honestly, I’m hoping that we get a third season of Vanderpump Villa just to see if people keep bringing the mess. Can these people live together, work together and provide a solid experience for people on vacation? That is the question we want to see answered. But at this point it seems like we’re getting just as much drama and fighting as we are hospitality.
