Another media project from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has been announced!
GB News reports that Meghan Markle will be launching a new show on Netflix entitled With Love, Meghan on January 15. The series will produce eight 33-minute episodes and portray Meghan inside a candid and imperfect environment.
To promote the new series, a trailer was released with some clips of what fans can expect from the show. Through the trailer, we learned that Meghan will bring in special celebrity guests to cook dishes with her. One of these guests is an old friend of the Duchess who goes all the way back to their "Suits" days!
Meghan Markle relies on an old relationship to perfect a new project
Abigail Spencer, the actress who portrayed Dana "Scottie" Scott on Suits, is the old friend supporting Meghan Markle as she creates and launches her new project. According to GB News, Spencer recently posted a message on Instagram saying "She's magic. Love you so @meghan."
Spencer makes an appearance in With Love, Meghan's trailer, but this isn't the first time Spencer has been pictured with the Duchess since the end of Suits' original run.
Apparently, Abigail and Meghan are close friends who regularly spend time with each other at the Duke and Duchess' California mansion. This can be confirmed with the multiple pictures Spencer and Meghan have posted themselves on the internet.
Having such a close friend on her new show seems like a great fit, as With Love, Meghan's new trailer also shows some humorous unscripted moments.
At one point in the trailer, the Duchess squirts lemon juice in her eye. However, Meghan says that the imperfect moments are all a part of the journey. As such, we can expect some other in-kitchen mistakes to make the final cut as well!
When promoting the show, Meghan says that her cooking philosophy involves taking ordinary things and elevating them. She also claimed that she will be sharing "some tips and tricks" while thoughtfully entertaining the audience throughout the show.
Meghan's new show comes after the successful release of Prince Harry's series on the sport of polo. The couple signed a content agreement with Netflix a while back after they moved to the United States and began a new life for themselves.
The official release of Meghan's new show is only a few days away, so we should expect the delivery of more information very soon.
