If it makes fans of the Royal Family feel any better, the House of Windsor isn't the only clan trying to get over some highly publicized drama.
Hello! Magazine reports that David Beckham will receive knighthood from his friend (what a humble brag, by the way) King Charles during the monarch's birthday celebration.
According to Hello!, Beckham's knighthood was confirmed once his name was included in the King's birthday honors list.
Beckham's knighthood is long overdue, as he's been waiting since at least 2003, the year he received his Order of the British Empire (OBE).
Unfortunately, another report connected to David Beckham hints that an important guest could be missing whenever the new knight schedules his celebration.
A growing rift between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria

Sigh. Stop me if you've heard this before.
A prominent son within an even more prominent British family falls in love with an American actress.
For some reason or another, the American actress and her future in-laws don't seem to mesh well.
The prominent son from the prominent British family marries the American actress and there's chicanery surrounding the wedding festivities.
The British son sides with his new wife and, after a few years, the same son has a hard time holding a conversation with his parents.
According to a recent article from People, this is the (very oversimplified) backstory of Brooklyn Beckham's current tiff with his parents David and Victoria Beckham.
The publication reports that Brooklyn's rift with his parents began after Victoria hijacked his 2022 wedding's after party.
A source who spoke to People said that "Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding."
However, Anthony shocked everyone in attendance when he called Victoria Beckham "the most beautiful woman in the room" and called her up for a slow dance with Brooklyn.
A second source told People that Marc Anthony's blunder "was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock."
Unfortunately, the moment was so shocking that Nicola Peltz ran from the room crying after being mortified by the event.
Fast forward to the present day, and Brooklyn hasn't even been able to wish his parents Happy Birthday on social media.
Luckily, the insiders who spoke to People felt that the Beckham Family's drama is not beyond repair. Hopefully, David's upcoming knighthood is a big enough occasion for the family to get together and start patching things up over dinner!
Ironically, David's greatest service to the United Kingdom could be showing King Charles how to patch things up with a prodigal son.
