Fans of Bravo and the Real Housewives got a lot of exciting news on May 7. Not only was a new housewives franchise announced, but we also got some news about returning shows as well. And one of those returning shows is actually Ladies of London.
Bravo viewers may remember Ladies of London, which aired for three seasons starting in 2014, for giving us a glimpse of what the lives of some of London's socialites looked like. It is where we all met Real Housewives of Dubai's Caroline Stanbury for the first time. And it gave us plenty of the glitz and glam we love from the Real Housewives franchise, although it is not technically part of the housewife franchise.
And on May 7 we learned that Bravo had decided to revisit London. This means a new season of the Ladies of London is heading our way.
The Ladies of London is returning to Bravo
According to the Daily Dish from Bravo, there is currently no news on when the series will premiere or even who all will be part of the cast. Considering it has been eight years since we last had new episodes of Ladies of London, we doubt that we will see former cast members returning, but it would be interesting if any of them decided to show up.
So what exactly did we learn from this announcement? Well they shared a brief synopsis that reads:
"Ladies of London is back with a new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats and glamorous international socialites. As tradition clashes with the fast-paced globalized world, these power players redefine what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world. Here connections are currency and the crown isn’t the only thing up for grabs."Bravo
Basically, it sounds like we are getting a refresh of what made the show so much fun to watch the first time around. And we can only hope that whoever these socialites are, they will give us plenty of drama and entertainment. Of course, we are also here for the fashion as well.
We can't wait to meet the new Ladies of London cast. And here's hoping the new season actually premieres in 2025 so we don't have to wait forever for this look across the pond.
