Jonathan Bailey is the cutest character in the year's most highly-anticipated movie of the year, Wicked. One of the leading ladies admires him for being as perfect as she is, while the other admits that "he could be that boy, but I'm not that girl." As he's been fictionally capturing and breaking hearts for a while in Bridgerton, let's hear what he has to say for himself.

"Reuniting with the family next week"

The Hollywood Reporter recently discussed Bailey's ongoing role as Viscount Anthony Bridgerton. During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Bailey called the show "an amazing thing to be a part of." He even commented that coming back to the show is like "reuniting with the family." Looking forward to the story of Benedict and the "Lady in Silver," he commented that, "there's going to be lots of space for new people to come in and Luke [Thompson] and Yerin [Ha] are going to be great, so I'll always pop back and say hello."

While Season 4 is coming up for fans of the period piece in which he plays a regular part, we are looking forward this week to his part in Wicked. The movie is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz and Bailey's Fiyero is infamous at first for his playboy lifestyle and unfocused approach to his education. "Life is fraught less when you're thoughtless," he sings. "Why think too hard when it's so soothing dancing through life?" He learns and grows and is a complicated friend and ally to both the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the North. He does appear in the plotline of The Wizard of Oz, but we can't say too much without ruining a major twist in Act 2 of Wicked. Given that the movie will be split into two parts, that moment may even be in the next film in the adaptation.

We look forward to seeing Jonathan at the "most swankified place in town," whether it's the Ozdust Ballroom or a gathering in the 'ton.
