When last we left off, Danielle was the last Traitor left standing, offering Britney a chance to join or die. In the penultimate episode, she accepted the invitation, and together they murdered Tom. That left six remaining include Danielle and Britney. But would their new partnership be enough to secure a victory?
In the tenth episode, we got a tense Roundtable. Despite the work of Britney to rally support, Danielle was on the chopping block. The suspicion turned to her after her face off with Carolyn. At the vote, Danielle and Ivar were tied. That took it to a run-off vote. As the episode ended, Danielle was down 2-1 with Britney left to vote. Surely, we were in for a tie again, right?
This week’s finale picked right up at the Roundtable with Britney casting her vote. She switched to vote against Danielle, who felt betrayed, again. This is the way it went for the two on Big Brother as well. It also continued the one solid theme of the season—friends voting out friends at the Roundtable. With that, we began the finale with Danielle getting banished.
But what of the Seer power? It would be granted to one player, who could then ask one other player to reveal whether they were a Traitor or a Faithful. Britney won the power and decided to ask Gabby. Gabby revealed she was a Faithful, but how would it be reported to the group.
Now on her own as the final Traitor, Britney was trying to deflect any suspicion heading into the final Roundtable. She revealed Gabby was a Faithful, hoping that would put the suspicion off all of them. It didn’t work.
Dylan, despite his early misgivings about Gabby, locked on to Britney. In a tense final Roundtable, the pair sparred. As the vote began, it was unclear who had prevailed in their argument. Britney voted for Dylan. Dylan and Ivar voted for Britney. But what would the other ladies—Delores and Gabby—do? In the end, both voted against Britney, who was banished from the game.
That left the final four to move to the fire of truth. A vote to end the game would wrap it up. A vote to banish, and one of the four would be gone. But if the game ended with a Traitor among them, they’d lose all the money. In the end, the four took a chance and all voted to end the game. They became the four winners, splitting the $204,000 in prize money.
That brought the season to an end, as the Faithfuls managed to banish all five Traitors. What did you think of the season? Are you excited for the next season? Let us know in the comments!
