After we left off last week, it was clear the remaining contestants were feeling high after banishing Boston Rob, their second Traitor. Now, the hunt for the remaining traitors picks up steam, but can the Faithfuls latch on to a good theory and make some progress? Let’s dive in.
As we left off, five contestants were up for murder. Tom, Dylan, Delores, Gabby, and Chrishell all awaited their fate. Four of them would see Alan and remain safe. One would see Danielle and Carolyn, and their game would end. While we see the montage to start, as per usual we drop in to breakfast.
After the five that were safe are seated, we begin seeing who survived one at a time. First up was Gabby, then Tom. Their description of the events sparked an idea for Sam, who decided that anyone not a Traitor would be able to describe seeing Alan and his outfit. Next through the door was Carolyn, leaving Danielle worried her fellow Traitor would be hung out to dry.
But leave it to Tom to misunderstand a plan. While Sam pushed Carolyn for details, Tom jumped in with his comments on Alan’s attire, ruining the experiment. That spared Carolyn from suspicion—for now. Next to arrive was Delores, meaning either Dylan or Chrishell was on the chopping block. But who got it?
The Traitors is down to just two in the turret, could that change?
We quickly went back to the night prior, where Danielle and Carolyn delivered their letter to Chrishell, ending her game. In her post-death interviews, Chrishell noted she suspected Danielle but never imagined Carolyn was a Traitor. That could bode well for her chances.
With the remaining 10 contestants, Alan launches the week’s challenge, which includes some creepy dolls and some backwards tunes. It also offers the potential for one shield for the doll team—including Tom, Ivar, Danielle, Britney, and Ciara. The contest is wild, offering some great moments of comic relief from Tom and a shield for Ciara. The group also adds $20,000 to the prize pot.
But then it’s time for the Roundtable. Ciara is safe from Murder, but is she safe? Turns out, with Rob gone, the new popular theory is an old one—the Coffin Theory. Since Ciara is the only one left from the Coffins, and the only one who voted with Rob in the previous episode, she’s on the hot seat. She tries to defend herself, but it’s an avalanche.
In the end, Ciara votes for Britney, again, while all nine of the others vote for her. She’s banished and reveals she is a Faithful. That leaves the group doubting themselves and feeling downtrodden.
Nine players remain, and soon the men—specifically Dylan, Ivar and Sam—band together with a new theory. They believe the remaining traitors are female. That leaves Danielle and Carolyn squirming as they head to the turret.
There, the ladies are offered a choice—proceed with a murder as usual, or instead try to recruit a new Traitor. As we leave, the ladies are split on how to proceed, and the clock is ticking. Will they add to their ranks or thin the ranks with a murder? That’s what’s on the table for next week’s episode!
