We have reached the penultimate episode of the head chef’s only season of Hell’s Kitchen. This means that Gordon Ramsay is down to just three chefs competing for the head chef position at Gordon Ramsay‘s Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods resort and casino.

It has been a season of ups and downs on Hell’s Kitchen, with plenty of moments where we did not think that these three would even make it to this point. Perhaps the most consistent of the three was Kyle, but at the end of the day, all three chefs proved that they had what it took to be finalists.

This is the episode where our chefs have to plan out a full dining experience. They have to then cook those dishes for a panel of judges who will ultimately decide who will be the final two. And even though the stakes are so very high, it always feels like this is an episode where we don’t see quite as much interaction between the chefs and Chef Ramsay.

Of course he is there. And he almost acts like the MC for the judging to determine who is going to ultimately end up as his final two. But he doesn’t feel like the biggest presence on the screen in this episode.

I have to say that I had no idea which of these three chefs were going to come out on top. All three of these chefs are very talented and have proven time and time again that they can overcome the challenges of the kitchen. So that means that it is down to what they are able to put on a plate to get into the finale. Will they be able to deliver high quality dishes that will win over each of the judges?

Unsurprisingly, since they are the final three, these chefs were able to wow the judges. In fact, it was anybody’s game as there were so many 10s handed out by the judges for these dishes. It turns out that Gordon Ramsay picked an amazing final three. And we expect nothing less.

Sadly, the chef who fell short of the final two was Egypt. He lost by a single point, meaning that both Kyle and Hannah get the chance to cook for the grand prize.

All things considered, I don’t know which of these two chefs will walk away as the winner of this season of Hell’s Kitchen, but I do think that which ever one wins, Gordon Ramsay has found an amazing head chef. Both of these chefs deserve to be in the final two. And their cooking in this semifinal proved that.

Now the only thing we have to hope for is that their team of former competitors don’t end up messing things up in the kitchen for their final dinner service. After all, they weren’t the ones who made it to the end.
