Queen Camilla has amusing reason for not participating in her family's WhatsApp chats

Everyone needs some funny stories about their favorite Royals in these trying times. Luckily, Hello Magazine's recent offering delivered just that!
The Royal Family group chats are pretty much like everyone else's. Despite their high ranking status in society, members of the Royal Family use WhatsApp to stay connected with one another and see what's for dinner. However, the current matriarch of the family, Queen Camilla, can't participate in the festivities for one humorous reason.
The curse of outdated technology
Woefully, Queen Camilla can't use WhatsApp because her phone is just too old. In the aforementioned article from Hello Magazine, Tom Parker Bowles, the Queen's son, claims that his mother still uses an old Nokia phone. Some may have heard the legendary myths about the brick phones that just won't die, and Queen Camilla's current predicament proves that many of Nokia's older products are still going strong.
Bowles assumes that Queen Camilla continues using her outdated phone for security reasons. That theory actually checks out since its hard to hack a phone that can't download third party applications and products.
Perhaps Queen Camilla has avoided buying a new smartphone since she learned from the experiences of her predecessor. Later in their article, Hello Magazine included Bowles' quotes about his grandmother's infamous rivalries with smartphone applications. Apparently, Queen Elizabeth understood how to text but was "defeated by apps." Unsurprisingly, the former Queen prohibited her relatives from using their devices at the dinner table.
With the new norms of the world, one would think that Queen Camilla has a work phone that allows her to explore the tech industry's most recent offerings every once in a while. However, it appears that Bowles' stories were focused on his mother and grandmother's personal phones. In that case, WhatsApp shouldn't be holding their breath to find a new high-profile user anytime soon.
