It doesn’t matter who you are, there are certain things that we fear or that we worry about. And Queen Camilla is no exception.
According to a recent report from Showbiz Cheatsheet, it seems that there is a specific fear that Queen Camilla has when she is traveling abroad with her husband, King Charles. Specifically, a former royal employee, who was actually the King’s Butler for a number of years, revealed that it seems as if the queen is not a fan of flying.
The former royal butler stated that, “while she has to travel all over the world, flying was never her favorite mode of transport. I don’t think it’s to do with the height – it’s more the turbulence. But even though she has this fear, she deals with it when she does have to travel.”
Queen Camilla apparently has a fear of flying
Considering King Charles and Queen Camilla just returned from a royal visit to Canada, it makes sense that the topic of travel abroad would be discussed in relation to the senior royals. And all things considered, it is clear that the queen has no problem pushing through the things that she does not like in order to get things done.
Honestly, Queen Camilla‘s fear is one that many of us share. There are a lot of of us that do not like to fly. And in part, our fear does stem from turbulence. There is something about shaking thousands of feet up in the air that really jolts the adrenaline and leaves us gripping our seats.
It’s actually interesting to learn this particular fear of the queen’s, because it definitely makes her more relatable. It is something that other people with the same fear can point to the queen as an example of someone who has the same fear but pushes through and does what needs to get done.
