On May 9, news broke that a new rose had been named after Princess Catherine. The rose, which is a gorgeous shade of coral with pink notes to it, is set to be sold in an effort to raise money for Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
According to BBC News, the rose is specifically called Catherine's Rose and is meant to be a way to raise awareness about the importance of nature and spending time outside. Also known as the floribunda rose it "has coral-pink blooms with a scent of Turkish Delight and mango." And will be available for people to purchase starting in the fall of this year.
However, this is not the first time that a rose has been named after Princess Catherine. Although, the first time a rose was named after the princess, it was a jointly named rose released in conjunction with her wedding to Prince William.

In an Instagram post shared by Royals In Focus, they shared that there has also been a "William And Catherine Rose." This particular rose "Was Named In Honour Of The Royal Wedding Of Prince And Princess Of Wales Which Took Place At Westminster Abbey On April 29, 2011."
The rose inspired by the royal couple's wedding is a white rose that says it can be planted all year long and it does bloom every year. This rose is said to be a shrub rose, which actually makes it a great addition to many gardens.
Much like the newest rose inspired by Princess Catherine, the William and Catherine Rose is also available for purchase. This means that if you want to fill your garden with roses, you could add both options inspired by the Princess of Wales.
So will you be doing some gardening this fall?
