While the 2025 Invictus Games were coming to a close, Prince Harry received an emotional gift that recognized all the work he does to serve wounded veterans.
According to Hello! Magazine, Prince Harry received a bracelet with a special message engraved inside it. Pictures of the bracelet show that the piece reads, "whoever saves one life saves the world."
Hello! Magazine reports that Olga Rudnieva, the Chief Executive Officer of Superhumans, was the one who gave Harry the bracelet and expressed how much his work means to wounded veterans and the world around them.
While explaining her interaction with Prince Harry, Rudnieva said, "We are from Ukraine, and he has been supporting the Ukrainian team here, and all Ukrainians have seen that and people are very, very overwhelmed."
Olga went onto say that it's important for Ukrainians to know that the Duke of Sussex is supporting them as they deal with their ongoing conflict with Russia.
More than just a game

The Invictus Games are more than an adaptive sports competition. The Games serve as an instrument to improve wounded warriors' mental health and give communities from various countries a chance to bond with one another.
Hello! Magazine explains that the Invictus Games were inspired by the Warrior Games' positive impact on military veterans' rehabilitation. Organized by the United States' Department of Defense, the Warrior Games invite athletes from different countries to compete in various sports and enhance their physical and emotional recoveries.
While the Invictus Games have been held on a somewhat irregular schedule, the Warrior Games are hosted every year.
Prince Harry's passion for helping wounded veterans takes him across world whenever the Invictus Games are held. The 2025 edition of the Invictus Games was hosted in Vancouver and Whistler and invited more than 550 people from 23 countries.
Past editions were hosted in Orlando, USA (2016), Toronto, Canada (2017), Sydney, Australia (2018), The Hague, Netherlands (2020), and Dusseldorf, Germany (2023).
In some cases, the Invictus Games give Prince Harry a chance to connect with groups who aren't necessarily connected to the armed forces community. During his time in Canada, Prince Harry visited multiple First Nations groups.
The Duke's visit with the Squamish Nation was especially significant, as it healed wounds left by earlier generations of the Royal Family. Meghan Markle accompanied Prince Harry during this visit; and it was technically the House of Windsor's first in-person engagement inside a Canadian First Nation in at least a century.
