Prince Harry has given his first official remarks about the crisis happening within his beloved Sentebale.
Hello! Magazine's article on Prince Harry's thoughts is an eye opener that contains a ton of new information.
To begin, the Duke of Sussex revealed that Sentebale's recent situation is "heartbreaking to witness" and that he hopes the Charity Commission will "unveil the truth that collectively forced [the Board of Trustees] to resign."
Prince Harry also said that no one is suffering more than "the beneficiaries of Sentebale itself."
The fallout of Sentebale's internal conflict continues

The Charity Commission made its own statement after officially launching its investigation into Sentebale's administrative turmoil. According to Hello! Magazine, the Charity Commission said that it is now in contact with the current and past trustees who can provide information about the non-profit's recent compliance.
According to GOV.UK, the Charity Commission is a government regulator that "[registers] and [regulates] charities in England and Wales, to ensure that the public can support charities with confidence."
The Commission is an independent and non-ministerial government department that maintains an accurate registry of the charities operating in England and Wales. The department removes charities from its registry whenever they "are not considered to be charitable, no longer exist, or do not operate."
In its most recent statement, the Charity Commission also said that it will investigate if Sentebale's current and former trustees "fulfilled their duties and responsibilities under charity law."
Prince Harry's statement hints that he believes the Charity Commission's findings will absolve him and the other trustees from any wrongdoing.
However, Sophie Chandauka, Sentebale's current board chairwoman, believes the Charity Commission's findings will benefit her more instead.
Hello! Magazine writes that Chandauka "welcomes" the Charity Commission's investigation and hopes that the public will feel relieved after they learn about the new trustees' performance within the organization.
According to Chandauka, she initiated her own internal review of Sentebale's administrative issues last year. She also claims that she will provide the findings of that review to the Charity Commission whenever the regulator requests them.
As we concluded in a prior article on this subject, we are a long way away from seeing a positive resolution in Sentebale. Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso co-founded the charity to help honor their mothers' memories, so leaving the organization behind has to hurt on a deeper level.
We'll keep track of this story and update you whenever any new developments arise.
