Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a kind gesture as Californians try to reconcile with the damage caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles.

According to Hello! Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up their home in Montecito to loved ones who were forced to evacuate. They were able to do this because the wildfires have not affected their home yet.

Unfortunately, there is a chance Harry and Meghan may have to close their home's connection to local power sources. If this occurs, the Duke and Duchess will be forced to find new housing themselves.

The damage caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles cannot be overstated. Hello Magazine's reporting found that Harry and Meghan are collaborating closely with their Archwell Foundation to determine how they can help their communities even more.

So far, Harry and Meghan have donated adult clothing, clothing and toys for children, and other essential supplies to those in need of critical materials. These donations supplement the resources local and national charities have gathered to help people in need throughout the natural disaster.

On their official website, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote a post telling people where they can donate more supplies. The post also expresses how severe the situation in Southern California has gotten for those affected.

According to the Duke and Duchess' post, numerous organizations are keeping their doors open as shelters, housing animals and pets as needed, and providing meals to victims and first responders. While there is a wide network of organizations donating their services to the local community, they do not have the capacity to help every victim in Southern California on their own.

Harry and Meghan's post also tells readers that they should open their home to loved ones who were displaced if they are able to.

Hello! Magazine reports that 30,000 people evacuated from Palisades, California once wildfires began in the area. The publication also claims that multiple Hollywood A-listers reside in the community.

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection claimed that 0% of the fire was contained at the time of Hello! Magazine's reporting. The fire impacted Palisades, Malibu, and other neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area while destroying hundreds of homes and businesses.

If the wildfires impact the royals in any other way, we will update you all as soon as possible.
