On July 14, Princess Charlotte accompanied her mother, Princess Catherine, to the Wimbledon finals. She sat at her mother's side throughout the event and even had a chance to shake hands with the winner of the men's tournament later in the day. On the same day, Prince George was seen accompanying his father, Prince William, to the UEFA European Championship soccer game in Germany.

If you looked to social media, the question on a lot of fans' minds was 'where is Prince Louis?'. And honestly, it is a valid question considering both of his siblings were able to attend the major sporting events with their parents.

However, we should point out that Prince Louis is only 6-years-old at this time. And as People Magazine reported, both Prince George and Princess Charlotte were eight before they were able to attend major sporting events like Wimbledon with their parents. This means that it would likely be two more years before we see Prince Louis courtside at Wimbledon or even cheering on England at the UEFA European Championship.

Why wasn't Prince Louis with either of his parents during their outings to major sports events this past weekend?

While it is actually not that surprising that Prince William opted not to take Prince Louis to Germany for such a large sporting event, you might still be wondering about Wimbledon. The reality is that there are some strict rules when it comes to noise during the matches. And at 6-years-old, it might still be a bit difficult for the young prince to sit still and quiet for a long period of time.

According to the code of conduct for Wimbledon, "Please don’t make any noise during a rally." In fact, making an "excessive amount" of noise could be grounds for the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, where Wimbledon takes place, to expel you from the facility. So knowing this and the fact that Louis is still quite young, it makes sense that he was also not in attendance alongside his mother and sister.

It makes sense that Prince Louis was not out and about in public for the recent outings with his parents since he is still quite young, but it also makes sense that people would comment on his absence since both of his siblings did get a chance to take in these sporting events in person.

What do you think? Are you at all surprised that Prince Louis stayed home while his siblings took in tennis and soccer with their parents?
