Taylor Swift is currently in Dublin Ireland for the latest stop on her 'The Eras Tour.' And ahead of the concert, it seems that she got a very special welcome gift from none other than U2 themselves.
It turns out that the legendary band decided to send the singer flowers in order to welcome her to Ireland. And Swift took to social media in order to share a picture of not only the flowers that she received, but also a note that was sent her way by the band.
The bouquet of flowers included beautiful roses and orchids, and the note itself was a warm welcome that read, "Dear Taylor, Welcome back to our hometown… leave some of it standing? Your Irish fan club." And it was signed from all the members of U2.
Obviously, Taylor Swift had her own message for the band, which she shared as part of her Instagram Stories where she shared the picture of the flowers and note. In her message she thanked the group for their hospitality and "for always being the classiest and coolest."
Honestly, we love that U2 went out of their way to send their regards to Swift. Not only do we love that they welcomed her to their hometown with flowers, but also the sweet message they included. It was another reminder that the singer is building a legacy that is truly iconic.
Taylor Swift continues to shine during her 'The Eras Tour'
According to Deadline, the stop in Dublin is another three night event, following her three night stop in London, where she performed at Wembley Stadium in front of a packed audience that included members of the royal family, Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan, and even Hugh Grant with his family.
'The Eras Tour' has certainly been a long run for Taylor Swift and it is far from done. In fact, once she finishes her three nights in Dublin, she will then head out for stops in Amsterdam, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland before heading back to London for a five night run in August. And the party doesn't stop there, as she still has more to go in the U.S. as well.
Honestly, Taylor Swift is proving without a doubt that she is a class act with a work ethic that doesn't quit. Her tour continues to be a talking point for fans around the world, and it seems like with every stop there is a little more news to keep us coming back for more.
