Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dubai has been filled with plenty of ups and downs so far, but in episode 7 “The Beauty and the Beggar,” it was all about the drama. And this drama led to Caroline Stanbury kicking people out of her housewarming party before the night was over.
Stanbury invited all the ladies on the RHODubai cast over for a catered, sit down dinner with some of her other friends. But this dinner party ended up being a bit of a disaster from the start, as we saw Caroline Brooks show up with sage in order to “cleanse” Caroline Stanbury’s new home of negative energy. And that was just the beginning with Brooks, as she also got into it with Taleen Marie.
While sitting down to dinner, Caroline Brooks started saying the word fake repeatedly. But while she wasn’t saying it directly to Taleen, it did seem like it was directed her way. And when she tried to confront Brooks, the other woman told her it wasn’t about her and then went over to whisper to some of the other ladies.
Caroline Stanbury and Taleen Marie stepped away from the dinner table to talk because the latter was upset and then it seemed like things truly fell apart. While Stanbury went back to the table to be with the rest of her guests, Taleen and her husband walked away to talk, however Caroline Brooks chose to follow the couple and even told Taleen she needed to “stop drinking.”
A confrontation between Brooks and Marie’s husband devolved into a fight that the producers had to step into. And as the fight moved into Stanbury’s home, she ended up leaving the dinner table to kick everyone out. While it didn’t seem like her non-housewife guests were kicked out, her cast mates definitely got the boot from the dinner party.
Honestly, we don’t blame Caroline Stanbury for kicking people out of her home. Not only was it disrespectful that they were fighting in her home, but there is no way that she would have wanted the police to be called in. This is not America or England. There are some very strict laws in Dubai, especially in regards to fighting like this.
The disappointing thing is how little respect the ladies showed not only Stanbury and her husband, but also the other guests in attendance. The housewives were not the only people there and it wasn’t fair to any of the other people at the party that this happened. It may have been the kind of drama we want to see in an episode, but at the same time, we can understand why this is not okay.
Were you at all surprised by a fight breaking out at Caroline Stanbury’s home? Do you blame her for cutting the dinner party short and kicking people out of her home?
