Prince Harry spotted greeting Queen Mathilde at a dinner organized by the World Health Organization
As of September 22, Prince Harry has officially arrived in New York City for a week of work. And it all started with an event organized by the World Health Organization (WHO).
To kick things off in NYC, Prince Harry attended a rather high-profile dinner that also saw him greeting Queen Mathilde of Belgium. The two looked happy to see each other and it definitely looked like a warm moment between the two royals.
Both royals looked sleek and elegant for the dinner, with the Duke of Sussex in a dark suit with an open collared white shirt. (The suit looks to be black, but considering the lighting it could have been a navy blue suit.) And for the Belgian queen, it was all about a gorgeous red dress with matching heels.
Prince Harry is in NYC for a week of events including charitable work
According to Hello Magazine, the dinner that Queen Mathilde and Prince Harry attended was organized by WHO in order to raise awareness about growing "violence against children and its impact on mental health."
Obviously, this is a very important event and topic, so it makes sense that both of these royals would be in attendance. And considering the Duke of Sussex has been raising awareness around mental health and online bullying of children and teenagers, this event feels like it fits right into that project as well.
Beyond this first dinner in NYC with WHO, Prince Harry has a busy schedule for the week that includes engagements involving The Diana Award, The Halo Trust and more. And the first of those events started on September 23 with the Duke of Sussex speaking at the Concordia Summit for The Diana Award.
While Prince Harry seems to be alone in NYC, he is definitely staying busy this week. And it should be interesting to see what all he is able to get done while he is in town.
