Prince Harry is heading to the UK to visit with his father after cancer diagnosis
Prince Harry is planning a trip to the UK to visit with his father, King Charles, following the news that the king has been diagnosed with cancer. It seems as if the youngest son of the king has been kept informed about his father's health, including the prostate procedure that lead to the cancer diagnosis.
It absolutely makes sense that Prince Harry would be kept in the loop about his father's health and well-being. And we love the fact that he will be traveling to visit with his father to offer his support and love.
According to Page Six, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's offices have confirmed the travel plans with them explaining that Prince Harry "will head to London on Monday and has already spoken to the king following his diagnosis."
Prince Harry will be heading to the UK to visit King Charles, but the rest of the family is staying home
While Prince Harry will be making the trip to visit his father, his wife and children will be staying home. This makes sense as Lilibet and Archie are both still quite young and it doesn't make sense to have them visit while the king is receiving treatments for his cancer. Instead, having just his son come visit is what we expected at this time. That is not to say that Duchess Megan and their children won't visit at a later time, but for now this is all about a father and his son.
Although Prince Harry will be visiting with his father, there is no word on any other plans while he is in the U.K. or if he will see his brother at all. And that's okay as this visit should be all about King Charles and his health.
We hope that Prince Harry is able to truly reconnect with his father during this visit and he is able to do so without the excess of drama that seems to follow him around for just existing.
