Noah Lyles shares his thoughts on one of the sweaters Tom Daley crocheted
The Olympics may be coming to an end, but there have been a ton of memorable moments. And some of those moments have been short, behind the scenes looks at the athletes. One video that went live on August 8 featured USA track and field star, Noah Lyles, checking out a sweater made by Team GB's Tom Daley.
Fans of Daley already know that the Olympic diver is both a knitter and a crocheter. And when it comes to his time at the Olympics, he has made quite the impression as he sits in the stands cheering on his fellow divers, while also crocheting and knitting different projects.
In the video shared by BBC Sport, Noah Lyles was asked about a rainbow sweater that Tom Daley had apparently crocheted, and was wearing in a picture that must have been posted to social media. And it is clear that Lyles has a lot of respect for Daley and is really impressed by his work.
Noah Lyles comments on Tom Daley's crochet work
Lyles even shares that he is familiar with crochet because of his sister, who also crochets at home. And he seems to really know what he is talking about when he is commenting on the lines and slip stitches. Honestly, it is the kind of Olympics content we didn't know we needed.
However, the best part of the video clip is when Lyles said the sweater is really well done and he would totally wear it. And in turn the interviewer asks him if they were to ask Tom Daley to knit him a cardigan, would he actually wear it. Noah Lyles basically says that he would be honored to wear a cardigan or sweater that Daley crocheted.

Now that we know Noah Lyles is a fan of Tom Daley's crochet work, we would love to see these two actually chatting about all things yarn and crocheted. And we have to say that it would be epic to see Noah rocking a sweater by Tom.
What do you think of these behind the scenes Olympic moments and interviews? Are you surprised to see Noah Lyles being asked about Tom Daley's yarn work?
