Hogwarts and its headmaster get the Funko gingerbread treatment

The holidays are fast approaching and it's important to prepare your owl post for delivery to Hogwarts in time for the school holidays. Or, if you're a Muggle, there's no time like the present to add something to your collection of Harry Potter items. As usual, Funko has something new to delight fans in an unusual way.

Hogwarts and Dumbledore are inextricably linked. After all, the headmaster spent decades overseeing everything to do with the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry, gave his life to protect its students, and had his final resting place on the castle grounds.

With the new gingerbread Albus Dumbledore and Hogwarts from Funko, fans can enjoy the castle in what might arguably be its best season: winter. Snow drapes over the greenhouses and ices the turrets, while lights grow brightly in the great hall and two towers have red and green decor to add to the festive spirit. There's even a peppermint candy hung over one of the archways. Dumbledore is in his usual star-spangled wizards cap and flowing robes, but looks like a quintessential gingerbread man with his white beard and half-moon spectacles standing out.

If the addition of Dumbledore and his beloved castle have caught your interest, Funko already has figures out in the same style for Harry, Ron and Hermione. Harry is featured with Hedwig, his appropriately snowy owl, while Hermione's hair manages to be bushy even in icing and Ron's spellotaped wand is recognizable.

Also out is a barn owl from the first Harry Potter. The titular character's first journey to Diagon Alley is full of wonder and the audience and character alike had their attention drawn to Eeylops Owl Emporium thanks to a gorgeous feathered friend.
