Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars may only be on its third episode of the second season, but the challenges are going hard. While the first challenge was all about starting a new business venture from the ground up with a food truck, the second challenge was all about an immersive bar experience.

Considering Gordon Ramsay is a restauranteur and Lisa Vanderpump specializes in both bars and experiences, it makes sense that the "Bar Wars" episode looked like it was going to be home run for the latter. However, we all know that there are no guarantees when it comes to team challenges. And since Lisa herself wasn't making the decisions, it was anyone's game to win or lose.

Ultimately, this challenge came down to not only the execution of the experience, but also the beverages. While Ramsay's team dropped the ball by not offering a non-alcoholic drink, and also did an experience that might not appeal to a wider audience, in the end, they were the better team.

Sadly, this meant that Vanderpump's team ended up losing the "Bar Wars" challenge. Not only did they drop the ball with the flavor of their mocktail offering, but they didn't seem to have a clear leader on this challenge. Plus, it is important to note that the person who was supposed to be greeting the guests and introducing them to the experience was too busy chatting with the crowd to actually do the job he said he would do.

Unsurprisingly, the person who should have been manning the door, Kamal, ended up being eliminated from team Vanderpump. While he felt like Lisa made the wrong decision, watching the episode made it pretty clear that she absolutely did not choose the wrong person to go home.

Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars knows how to deliver engaging challenges, while also giving us a better idea of the many businesses and aspects of a business that are so important to the food and beverage world. And with both Lisa Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay winning (and losing) a challenge so far, Season 2 is shaping up to be quite competitive.
