Emma Watson rewore a dress from her Beauty and the Beast press tour to Wimbledon
When it comes to sustainable fashion, we already know that Emma Watson has no problem pulling out past favorites from her closet. And on day 13 of Wimbledon, the actress did just that with a beautiful dress that many fans may remember from her Beauty and the Beast press tour days.
According to British Vogue, Watson could be seen at Wimbledon on day 13 rewearing a dress that she had previously worn during the press tour for the live action Beauty and the Beast film. The stunning black and white knee length dress is an ivory number from Oscar de la Renta that features silk taffeta, lace, and even a silk faille bow.
The dress already had a rather unique origin story as it was carefully constructed by hand and used components that had been repurposed from other pieces. And as far as sustainable choices, it also makes sense that Emma Watson would break it out of the closet for an appearance at Wimbledon.

Even with this being a red carpet worthy dress, Emma Watson kept things toned down with this look by keeping her shoes and accessories simple and understated. Simple black heels, a black handbag, and minimal jewlery all come together to complete the look which was chic, elegant, and rather lowkey overall.
We love how Watson opted for a past favorite for her time at Wimbledon, especially as it is a reminder that the actress is a big proponent of sustainability and being mindful of our consumption. She was able to make a statement with a beautiful dress and we are here for it.
