It has always been true that no matter what may be going on with any given economy, people love to look at homes that are on the market. And the more high-end the property, the more people are intensely interested, which is what Netflix is hoping with their new series Buying London.

Buying London is the brainchild of the same folks who brought you Selling Sunset, the hit Netflix series about the cut throat and drama filled real estate market in Los Angeles. This time they move the action across the pond to England and the city of London.

Buying London follows property mogul Daniel Daggers and his ruthless team of agents at DDRE Global. And if you've seen Selling Sunset, you know the series will be heavy with interpersonal drama and intrigue as well as some of the most luxurious and expensive homes in London.

Buying London arrives on Netflix on May 22.

And you won't have to wait long for the drama to start. Word is that a focus of the series is Daggers and his relationship with Lauren, the top agent at DDRE. Supposedly just friends, his favoritism toward her could have ramifications beyond just ending his new real estate firm before it even gets off the ground.

If you are a fan of scrolling through Zillow for hours on end or get excited whenever you see an Open House sign, Buying London should be right up your alley.

It isn't currently known how many episodes Buying London will have but if it follows the form of other real estate Netflix series it should be either eight or ten. Given how popular these type of series are, we'd bet on the latter.

What we do know is that Buying London arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, May 22.
