Are you in need of a laugh? You’re in luck! You can now catch up with all your favorite Ghosts on the streaming service Paramount+
Ghosts, which debuted in 2021, has become one of the most popular sitcoms on CBS. The series follows Samantha (Rose McIver) and her husband, Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar). Samantha inherits a mansion estate in the country, and they hope to turn it into an upscale bed and breakfast. After an accident leads to a near-death experience for Samantha, she develops the ability to see and talk to the undead.
That ends up coming in handy since their new house is loaded down with the souls of those who met their untimely demise on the property. Now, Samantha is a conduit for the ghosts as she and Jay try to get their business up and running.
The series has aired two full seasons in the United States and just launched the third season. Episodes air on CBS on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. and stream the following day on Paramount+. But the current iteration of Ghosts on CBS wasn’t the first or only version.
The original Ghosts debuted in the U.K. in 2019. It follows a similar premise as Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe) inherit a house with plans to turn it into a hotel only to find it’s already occupied by ghosts. The series has run five seasons, with the most recent airing in the Fall of 2023.
If you’re curious to see where it all began, you can now watch both versions of Ghosts on Paramount+. The original U.K. version aired on CBS during the strikes and now the first two seasons are available to stream there for U.S. audiences.
I’ve been a fan of the U.S. version of Ghosts since it debuted. I appreciate the characters, comedy, and the stories. If you’re looking for a good time, check out both versions of Ghosts, streaming now!
