Next Level Chef saw every single chef taking their cooking to the next level. Were there some issues in the kitchen? Of course, there were a few negative comments made, but overall, it seemed like a lot of these chefs really came to play and win.

Interestingly enough, even though Gordon Ramsay‘s team had the oven roasting for their technique in the top kitchen, they may not have had the advantage we would’ve expected because what the basement level chefs did with deep fried was truly amazing. It was the next level cooking we’ve been waiting for from team Richard Blais.

Honestly, after listening to the comments at judging it came as no surprise that Richard Blais’s team actually pulled out a win. It’s about time for them, as it felt like we have been waiting for them to hit the top kitchen on Next Level Chef!

With team Blais pulling out the win, this meant it was time for team Ramsay to cook for their lives. Or at least one of his chefs. Sadly, the chef from Gordon Ramsay‘s team that had to cook to stay in the competition against one of Nyesha Arrington chefs was Beatrice.

The two losing chefs had to use a cedar plank to cook their dishes to remain in the competition. And things got a bit hot in the kitchen, as Beatrice actually set her plank on fire. However, somehow she was able to pull herself together and remain in the competition, knocking out team Arrington’s pro chef, Iman. Her ability to come back from the brink of disaster and still put out a truly delicious, next level salmon dish is impressive.

Honestly, I was shocked that Gordon Ramsay’s team didn’t hit the basement after this challenge. But there is something about the way Beatrice cooks that is impossible to ignore. She is proving to be a truly impressive chef and one that everybody should be watching out for.
