A recent set of Instagram stories from Serena Williams and Meghan Markle revealed just how much the two love spending time with each other and Princess Lilibet.

Hello! Magazine's coverage of the IG stories revealed that Serena Williams is currently one of Princess Lilibet's aunties! This information was revealed in a caption Meghan wrote for a short video depicting Serena and Lilibet playing a round of Candy Land.

"When the aunties come to play and celebrate! Love you @serenawilliams," Meghan wrote before publishing another round of posts highlighting her friendship with one of the best tennis players of all time.

GB News' report on Serena Williams' feelings about Meghan Markle shows that Serena reposted a black and white photo of her and Meghan hugging each other on her own IG stories.

The photo of the two's embrace is apparently an image shared between the two, as Meghan posted the same picture during her IG story blast as well.

The love the two share between each other is authentic, as they've been developing their close friendship for over a decade.

Hello! Magazine and GB News explain that Meghan and Serena initially met each other in 2010. However, the two's friendship officially started after they reconnected at a Super Bowl event in 2014.

Meghan said that she's always been a huge fan of Serena on her old blog, The TIG. Apparently, Meghan thought that Serena was running towards somebody else when the athlete excitedly approached the Duchess during a flag football game at the aforementioned Super Bowl event.

The two hugged each other, struck up a conversation, and began a friendship so strong that Serena was a guest of Meghan and Prince Harry's official wedding ceremony.

Meghan's article about her and Serena's friendship on The TIG claims that the two rarely talk about acting or tennis when they're with each other. Instead, they focus on "all the good old fashioned girly stuff."

After watching the IG stories ourselves, it's clear that a simple game of Candy Land with Princess Lilibet is more than enough to make the Duchcess and the bonafide Hall of Famer happy on a beautiful weekend day.

Of course, one of Meghan's stories gave a hint that she'll be hosting a different kind of house party in a couple of days. With Love, Meghan begins streaming on Netflix March 4. The show will provide an extended glimpse of Meghan's passion for hosting guests and feeding them with homemade creations.
