MasterChef is back for its 15th season and with it comes a new judge and a new take on the competition. For this season, our newest judge to join Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich is none other than Chef Tiffany Derry. And instead of a single chef vying for the title of MasterChef, this season is all about "Dynamic Duos."

This season is all about teams of two cooking together. And it certainly has the potential to make things interesting in the kitchen.

Much like previous seasons of MasterChef, the season begins with chefs competing to actually earn their white aprons that mean they made it into the competition. The difference is that it is two chefs doing the cooking together.

MasterChef returns with a new judge and a slightly different concept in terms of our cooks

It really feels like MasterChef is trying to keep things fresh in Season 15. And what better way to do that than with a new judge and shaking up the competition by making it duos of chefs competing together?

I didn't know what to think of the Dynamic Duos aspect of the season, but after watching the premiere episode, I think even cooks who have been cooking together for years are going to struggle in this competition. And while I don't want the cooks to struggle, I do think it changes things to have to rely on someone else to make sure the dishes are being done properly.

Having two people responsible for the cooking means that there could be issues with agreeing on things like what to cook and how to do things. And not only that, but right off the bat we know that there are some strong personalities coming into the MasterChef kitchen.

It should be interesting to see how this season unfolds. And we can't wait to see how the judges handle the competition as well. Based on some of the previews for this season, we definitely expect yelling out of Gordon Ramsay and plenty of frustration. But at the same time, it seems like we have some talented chefs competing, so we can't wait to see what they cook up.
