We have exciting news out of Sandringham for music fans. It turns out that Mariah Carey will be performing at the royal estate this summer, and she is not the only notable name who will be singing in August.
According to a report from Hello Magazine, it seems that the Christmas residence of King Charles and Queen Camilla is set to once again host a number of musical acts this summer. Following the success of 2023's Heritage Live concert series, it seems that Sandringham will once again host a number of musical acts in August.
On February 24, news broke that Mariah Carey would be headlining a performance set for August 15 at Sandringham. She will apparently be joined on that day by the R&B group Eternal, as well as the Disco band Nile Rodgers & Chic.
Mariah Carey is heading to Sandringham in August to perform as part of a summer music series
No word on whether or not King Charles or any other members of the royal family will be around for this summer concert series. So we don't know if that means Mariah Carey will get a chance to perform for the royals. That being said, there is definitely excitement over her heading to the event, as a statement from Heritage Live's Giles Cooper explained, "We're absolutely thrilled to bring one of the greatest pop artists of all-time to the Royal Sandringham Estate for an exclusive UK headline show."
However, Mariah is not the only big name headlining at the summer concert series. Other artists that are planning to perform this summer at Sandringham include Stereophonics on August 16 and Michael Buble on August 17.
We are definitely exciting to learn more about this summer music series at Sandringham. And we are eager to see if more artists sign up to perform at the royal estate. Of course, our hope is that this event brings out a royal or two as well, as that will definitely amp up the excitement.
